About the role

We are seeking a Junior PMO with a proactive and positive approach to join our team. This role will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of projects. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You will be working closely with the Senior PMO in supporting the Programme Team on a variety of tasks, and will need to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the PMO and project team, including scheduling and coordinating meetings.
  • Maintain access requests for a Sharepoint site.
  • Assist with onboarding new project team members, including arranging IT equipment and delivering induction information.
  • Maintain a Resources Tracker, ensuring Security requirements are met by all team members.
  • Maintain a Holiday Tracker to give the Programme Manager and Project Managers awareness of team availability.
  • Support with team-wide IT issues by communicating with the IT team to resolve issues.
  • Facilitate Change Requests, supporting Project Managers through an established process, tracking the process, and seeking and keeping records of approvals.
  • Offer support with financial processes, including raising purchase orders and tracking progress.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Junior PMO or project support experience, ideally in a PMO or project delivery environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Aware of confidentiality when working with secure data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
