Duration: 6 months initially

The role:

For a leading organisation in the Information Technology and Digital sector, we are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with financial analysis for our Cyber PCD reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Track spend across Capex, Opex, Totex
  • Budget setting, monitoring, variance analysis
  • Deep dives into financials - "follow the money"
  • Reforecasting (monthly, quarterly, mid-period)
  • Aligning spend to ED2/ED3 roadmaps & technology plans
  • Working with product managers & value streams
  • Reporting delivery progress against transformation plans

Requirements:

  • Strong financial literacy (Capex, Opex, Totex)
  • Budget tracking and forecasting
  • Understanding of financial periods, actuals, re-forecasts
  • Ability to challenge spend and guide non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience with technology / IT spend (nice-to-have)
