What You'll Do
As a Portfolio Management Analyst, you will collaborate with our newly formed Portfolio & Business Management team to establish effective processes and ways of working. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Co-Creating a Shared Portfolio: Leverage your insights to develop a directorate-wide activity portfolio that outlines workstreams, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
- Translating Strategy into Action: Help shape and translate strategic directions into a coherent, prioritised delivery plan that balances strategic intent with operational realities.
- Embedding Governance: Co-design and implement portfolio governance standards, ensuring transparency and consistency across the directorate.
- Developing Reporting Mechanisms: Provide evidence-based inputs for meaningful portfolio-level reporting, offering leadership clear insights into progress and risks.
- Adoption of Best Practices: Foster the adoption of portfolio management practices and tools, sharing examples that drive successful implementation.
- Mapping Processes: Create clear process maps of our activities to promote understanding and facilitate effective training and onboarding.
