Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join a high-performing Risk Technology team. This role focuses on designing and developing modern web applications and APIs that support critical risk management capabilities within a large-scale banking environment. The successful candidate will have strong expertise across the modern Java ecosystem, experience building enterprise-grade applications, and a passion for solving complex technical and business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based web applications and APIs.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver scalable risk management solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into high-quality technical designs.
- Develop and enhance microservices and distributed applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Support deployment and operation of applications within containerized environments.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Experience working with containerized applications.
- Hands-on experience with: Docker, Kubernetes.
