We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join our award-winning Marketing team. The successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience in brand, marketing communications and/or agency roles, with a strong background in managing integrated above-the-line (ATL) campaigns, campaign planning, messaging development, and below-the-line (BTL) communications delivery.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will play a key part in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints, and delivering high-quality communications that support brand and commercial objectives within the Energy sector.

Key Duties of the Role

  • ATL Campaign Planning & Delivery: Lead the planning, development, and execution of ATL marketing campaigns across channels including TV, radio, OOH, digital, social, and print, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and campaign priorities.
  • Campaign Messaging & Creative Development: Support the development of campaign strategy, key messaging, creative direction, and customer communication frameworks to ensure campaigns are clear, compelling, and customer-focused.
  • Agency Management: Manage relationships with creative, media, production, and digital agencies to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Provide clear briefs, feedback, and direction throughout campaign delivery.
  • Integrated Campaign Planning: Support the development and delivery of integrated campaign plans across ATL, BTL, digital, social, CRM, and performance channels, ensuring alignment of messaging, objectives, and customer experience throughout all stages of campaign execution.
  • Cross-Channel Collaboration & Communications Consistency: Work closely with the Digital Marketing, Social Media, CRM, and Performance Marketing teams to ensure consistency of messaging, creative execution, campaign timing, and customer communications across all marketing activity and customer touchpoints.
  • Integrated Campaign Coordination: Work closely with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Digital, Customer Experience, and Commercial teams to coordinate campaign activity and ensure consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • BTL Communications Management: Own and manage all below-the-line communications and collateral for the Energy sector, including customer communications, sales support materials, CRM assets, POS, internal communications, and promotional materials.
  • Campaign Execution & Project Management: Manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, approvals, dependencies, and deliverables are effectively coordinated from briefing through to launch and post-campaign review.
  • Campaign Performance & Optimisation: Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness using campaign performance data, customer insights, and reporting metrics to identify learnings and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide communications support across wider business campaigns and initiatives where required, collaborating with internal teams to deliver integrated and effective marketing activity.
