We have Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Island Mode drawings prepared covering gas operational sites and we require an ex draughtsperson with CAD experience to update the drawings, recommend changes, obtain approval and then action the changes. Strong communication with various stakeholders is crucial for this role. This is not a design role. Your main focus will be updates and approval.
About the Role
We're looking for a Drawing Management Co-ordinator to join our central Warwick-based Drawings team, working closely with both operational support and Cyber OT teams. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our drawing management systems and supporting critical infrastructure planning, especially in the context of cyber resilience and digital transformation. You'll be instrumental in ensuring that accurate, up-to-date engineering drawings are maintained, reviewed, and made accessible across the organisation. You will also support drawing standardisation, quality improvement, and assurance across both business-as-usual (BAU) and strategic transformation efforts. Your core focus will be collaborating with the DC&I Programme Manager, Cyber Security, and the wider Warwick technical teams. This role will play a critical role in ensuring ongoing drawing quality and security across the whole estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a custodian of gas transmission engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility.
- Work closely with Warwick-based operations and Cyber OT teams to review, upload, and update drawings for localised site projects and infrastructure planning.
- Support the production and maintenance of Island Mode drawings to aid in cyber resilience planning-detailing physical isolation scenarios, valve layouts, temperature/pressure test points, and above ground infrastructure.
- Assist Cyber Security in developing business continuity plans by providing and maintaining critical operational drawings, including editable versions of Control Room Equipment Layouts.
- Help define user roles, approval workflows, and assurance processes within ACC.
- Conduct assurance reviews to improve the quality and integrity of drawings and implement process improvements aligned with digital best practices.
- Ensure drawing updates are captured from red-lined markups and are accurately reflected in editable CAD files.
- Coordinate drawing approval workflows prior to publishing on the business Records system.
