Credit Risk Analyst /lending, Risk Analyst

One of our large financial clients is currently looking for a Credit Risk Analyst /lending, Risk Analyst to join their Institutional Lending – first line credit facing team- offering credit products to their clients
Perform annual reviews of credit exposure for a select portfolio of European clients.
- Analyze credit requests and assesses risk levels related to extensions of credit. Develop a dynamic forward looking risk assessment of clients, transactions, and the industry. Assist management with monitoring existing credit portfolios, underwriting, and with any ad-hoc research required.
- Work closely with the client relationship managers to understand the strategic and financial objectives of s banks and broker dealers clients and assess their credit needs. Work with counsel on term sheets and loan documentation. Communicate with Agents on syndicated facilities.
- Actively monitor the credit environment for financial institutions, Banks and Broker Dealers in particular, in order to be able to develop recommendations for appropriate course of action.
- Proactively prepare for new credit requests and committee presentations. Develop and recommend appropriate credit limits relative to risk assessment. Provide guidance to more junior staff. Contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Experience in institutional lending, knowledge of lending/credit products, experience with credit documentation and financial or risk analysis preferred.
- Team player with strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to influence business partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and be proactive. Able to quickly absorb and follow credit policies and procedures
