Job Title: Cost Intelligence Manager\\n\\nLocation: Warwick (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week onsite)\\n\\nContract: 12 months (with potential for extension)\\n\\nPay Rate: £600 per day via umbrella inside IR36\\n\\nAbout the Role\\n\\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Intelligence Manager to lead the development of a brand-new cost intelligence capability within a major energy and infrastructure organisation. This strategic transformation role will shape how capital cost estimation is performed across the group, driving consistency, transparency, and efficiency.\\n\\nYou'll be responsible for designing and implementing a centralised cost intelligence platform, integrating market data, historical project insights, and digital tools to support smarter financial decision-making.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nStrategic Development: Define and implement a future operating model for cost estimation and intelligence.\\nPlatform Creation: Build a cost library and reference pricing models for capital projects.\\nStakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and buy-in.\\nGovernance & Oversight: Establish frameworks for cost data capture and reporting.\\nData Management: Lead the development of methodologies and tools for robust cost analysis.\\nRegulatory Compliance: Ensure transparent and auditable cost estimation practices.\\nRisk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with cost intelligence initiatives.\\nContinuous Improvement: Drive enhancements to processes and expand the cost intelligence database.Skills and Experience \\n\\nProven experience in cost estimation, pricing models, and capital project costing.\\nBackground in infrastructure, energy, or component procurement.\\nExperience in transformation and building tools/platforms, not just traditional estimating.\\nStrong analytical mindset with exposure to risk and pricing management.\\nComfortable working in ambiguous, evolving environments.\\nAdvanced Excel skills and familiarity with pricing software.\\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
