Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the overall design and governance of HV cable systems across various Offshore Hybrid Assets (OHA) projects.
- Managing a talented team of engineers to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable cable systems.
- Collaborating with cable contractors, civil works contractors, and ancillary system suppliers to ensure high standards in design and construction.
- Acting as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, authorities, and suppliers.
- Ensuring safety by design principles are embedded in all contractor solutions.
- Conducting regular site visits to cable routes and converter stations to monitor progress and quality.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering large infrastructure projects.
- A track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while producing high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of the power industry and technical understanding of converter station components.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
