An exciting opportunity within financial services Client are looking Senior Application Consultant based in London. Role: Senior Application Consultant Location: London (3 days week on site) Duration: 12 Months Status: Inside IR35 The Capability Owner provides ownership of the product backlog. Works closely with the Capability & Industry Lead and the Business Architect to understand the business needs and objectives. Experience and skills Required: Experienced within Unix and Oracle. Experience of public cloud Microsoft Azure, ADO and Power BI Strong experience working in a SAFe Agile or similar agile environment. Familiarity with implementing test and process automation. Worked in Financial Services background – Investment bank is essentialResponsibilities: Takes an active role in all squad ceremonies including elaboration, estimation, prioritization and implementation of work. Takes a new perspective on existing solutions, applying architectural guidance & best practice to propose solutions. Develops and maintains the architectural and technical debt backlog and roadmap for the capability. Align architectural guidance, technology & business priorities and reality of implementation. Works within broad guidelines and policies Works with other squads to understand the architectural direction and incorporates this into the squad's plans and drives the adoption within the squad including identifying and resolving roadblocks to adoption. Interacts with business and technology teams at all levels to implement work. Acts as an advisor and guide for the Capability Owner and squad. Drives adoption of design and engineering patterns and best practice. Participates in system maintenance and infrastructure management.
