About this opportunity:
As part of their product management of longstanding products, they must evidence good outcomes for customers under Consumer Duty regulation. This role is to work as part of a small team enabling the upward reporting of this evidence to board level. They need to create a Product Dashboard template that will automatically pull through visualisations created by the Data Team and allow Product Managers to manually add text to provide context and rationale. The template also needs to produce automated outputs such as a hand off into an Excel sheet which helps drive board level reporting. This will include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, keeping them engaged as you develop the dashboard, and working to refine in order to best outcomes possible within our constraints. Creativity, communication and enthusiasm are key.
This activity is part of a wider initiative to create a suite of MI across the division’s longstanding customers who hold products across 7 product families. Their initiative includes sourcing the relevant data from multiple internal and external sources, creating visualisations to evidence good outcomes or identify areas with potential for customer harm, and support the division’s strategies to move to a data driven organisation and improve customer experience. Given the scale of work there may also be opportunities to support the team in other ways including creating the Visualisations, so ability to create in Tableau or PowerBI would be useful.
What you’ll need:
- Experience and proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel and MACRO, and additional knowledge of Python, Tableau/Power BI and BigQuery.
- Experience and proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, such as requirement analysis, business process improvement, agile working, Jira, and Confluence.
What they would like to see:
- Understand and document the business needs and goals, and the data requirements and expectations, of the stakeholders, and ensure that the data models and analysis meet the business and user needs and are aligned with the organizational goals and standards.
- Communicate and present data analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders, such as managers, clients, and partners, using methods such as reports, presentations, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with other data professionals, such as data visualisers, data scientists, and business analysts, to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy, and support business intelligence strategies with quantitative analysis.
- Identify and resolve any data quality, integrity, or performance issues, and any conflicts or gaps between the data and the business needs, using data modelling and analysis tools and techniques.
