Initial 6-Month Contract | Potential Extension

Opportunity for an experienced Agile Coach, Agile Transformation Lead or Business Agility Consultant to influence senior leaders, drive organisational change and improve delivery performance across large-scale technology and business teams.

We're partnering with a leading UK organisation to recruit a Business Agility Lead to support multiple cross-functional teams in optimising agile delivery, improving productivity, and embedding sustainable ways of working. This is a highly visible role, working directly with senior Product, Technology and Business leaders to drive agility, improve delivery outcomes and help teams maximise the value they deliver to customers and colleagues.

Why This Role is Different

This isn't a traditional Scrum Master position. You'll be operating at a strategic level, partnering with leadership teams responsible for large delivery functions and coaching them to build high-performing, self-sustaining agile teams. You'll use data, insights and agile expertise to influence delivery approaches, improve flow, optimise team structures, and enable meaningful cultural change across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coaching senior leaders, product teams and technology teams on agile principles and ways of working.
  • Supporting large delivery teams to improve effectiveness, efficiency, predictability and value delivery.
  • Driving mindset and culture change through customer-centric and product-led thinking.
  • Using delivery metrics, data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and solve complex delivery challenges.
  • Improving team productivity, delivery cadence and data quality.
  • Supporting the design and optimisation of team structures, operating models and agile practices.
  • Introducing continuous improvement initiatives and providing coaching when teams are off-track.
  • Standing up new agile teams and advising on the most effective frameworks, methodologies and tools.
  • Facilitating workshops, training sessions and coaching engagements across a broad stakeholder community.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery priorities remain aligned to business objectives.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Business Agility Lead, Agile Transformation Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong experience coaching senior leaders and influencing stakeholders at executive and leadership level.
  • Track record of driving agile maturity across multiple teams or large delivery organisations.
  • Experience supporting both change delivery and business-as-usual operational environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation, mentoring and coaching capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Agile Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban and scaled agile approaches.
  • Agile coaching certifications such as PSM, Kanban, ICAgile, Certified Agile Coach or equivalent.
  • Experience selecting and applying the right agile approach based on business needs rather than following a single methodology.

Tools & Technology

  • Experience using: Jira, Jira Align, Confluence.

Data & Analytics

  • Strong data-led decision-making skills.
  • Experience using Agile delivery metrics to improve team performance.
  • Ability to analyse trends, identify bottlenecks and drive productivity improvements.
  • Confidence translating complex data into compelling stories and actionable recommendations for leadership teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within Financial Services, Banking or other regulated industries.
  • Product Management or Product Delivery experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organisational transformation programmes.
  • Exposure to technology and digital delivery environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A confident coach and trusted advisor.
  • Comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive.
  • Skilled at building credibility and driving change through influence rather than authority.
  • Passionate about helping teams become self-sufficient and high performing.
  • An excellent storyteller, able to communicate insights and recommendations in a clear and engaging way.
