Service Manager ITIL

Job Title: Service Transition Manager Location: Contract: 12 months \\n Day Rate: Circa 625 per day Via Umbrella \\n\\n Were looking for a Service Transition Manager to lead the seamless introduction of new technical services into live environments. Youll work across a diverse technology landscapeincluding Microsoft platforms and ServiceNowto ensure services are production-ready, scalable, and supported from day one. \\n This is a key role that bridges the gap between technical delivery and operational support, ensuring that every service we launch is robust, sustainable, and aligned with business needs.

\\n\\n Collaborate with engineering, support, and operations teams to define and embed support models. \\n Lead onboarding and migration initiatives for new technologies and services. \\n Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing.

\\n Build and refine processes that support long-term service health and user satisfaction. \\n Ensure operational readiness and service enablement across all transitions. \\n\\n Strong experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, CMDB, Change/Release Management).

\\n Proficiency in Microsoft 365 technologies (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune). \\n Solid understanding of ITIL v4 principles and service lifecycle. \\n Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Experience coordinating UAT and functional testing .

\\n Proven track record in service transition planning and execution . \\n Experience designing and implementing support models . \\n Strong knowledge of change, release, and incident management .

\\n Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. \\n Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and user experience . \\n\\n ITIL v4 Foundation (or higher)\\n Pontoon/Adecco is an employment consultancy.
