Overview
We're partnering with a large, forward-thinking Utilities organisation to find a creative and versatile Video Content Creator who can bring stories, people, and ideas to life through engaging video content. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role suited to someone who thrives across the full production lifecycle – from concept and planning through to filming, editing, and publishing. You'll create high-quality video content that helps communicate complex ideas in a clear, human, and visually engaging way across a variety of platforms. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, including UX and communications teams, to shape narratives, develop storyboards, and showcase the organisation's work, culture, and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, film, edit, and deliver high-quality video content across multiple channels
- Create engaging short-form and long-form content for:
- Corporate social media platforms
- Websites and digital products
- Internal communications
- Campaigns, events, and recruitment marketing
- Capture footage in offices, on-site locations, and during interviews/events
- Edit and optimise content for different platforms and audiences
- Apply motion graphics, transitions, captions, sound design, and visual effects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to turn ideas into compelling visual stories
- Work with UX teams on scripting and storyboarding content
- Help maintain a consistent visual style aligned with brand identity
- Manage video assets, workflows, and publishing processes
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video and digital content
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience creating video content from concept through to delivery
- Strong filming, editing, and storytelling capabilities
- Confidence working independently with video and audio equipment
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
- Premiere Pro (essential)
- After Effects (essential)
- Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder
- Ability to produce engaging motion graphics and visual content
- Experience working across digital and corporate communication channels
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Confident collaborating with stakeholders, interviewees, and contributors
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work with creative freedom
