We require a strong, classic Security Project Manager with, at least, an appreciation for Operational Technology to join an OT team in delivering technical compliance-based projects for a large utilities provider.
The goal: Deliver NIS Compliance through operationally sustainable processes that ensure OT Availability, Protection & Resilience, via the application of OT controls & continual improvement prioritised by risk.
Summary: As the IT/OT Project Manager you will lead and drive the delivery of improvements to critical systems, processes and the overarching governance and assurance necessary to ensure the security, availability and operational resilience and regulatory commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and driving delivery
- Create & maintain delivery plans in Jira
- Build relationships and trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders (Business, Engineering, OT/IT)
- Develop and manage supplier relationships necessary to deliver the required changes
- Maintain Delivery RAID logs
- Produce monthly progress reports
Motivated & Hands-on, Team Player with a can-do attitude is a must.
Skills & Experience:
Project Management
- Strong planning & scheduling, delivery risk management
- Pragmatic with the experience to engage within technical disciplines
Stakeholder Management & Supplier Contract Management
- Managing multiple third-party suppliers, including contract negotiations.
- Ensuring delivery across supply chains or outsourced service models.
- Working across technical and non-technical teams
Operational Awareness
- Working in highly regulated and compliance environments
- Working with high, availability, mission-critical systems and processes.
- Understanding of business continuity, operational resilience and/or DR
The following additional experience would be a bonus:
- Experience of OT (Operational Technology) in energy or engineering
- Familiarity with NIS CAF, NIST, or IEC 62443
