A leading UK financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Transformation Delivery to lead a central enterprise transformation capability supporting large-scale business change across the group. This is a high-profile leadership role focused on building transformation maturity, improving delivery excellence, and embedding customer-centric, product-led ways of working across a complex regulated environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll lead a newly formed central transformation function, partnering closely with senior executives and enterprise delivery teams to shape how change is mobilised, governed, and delivered across the organisation. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can influence at all levels, drive delivery discipline, and help modernise operating models, tooling, governance, and change practices. You will play a critical role in helping teams adopt new methodologies, improve organisational maturity, and embed sustainable transformation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a central enterprise transformation and change delivery capability
- Drive large-scale transformation programmes from strategy through execution
- Embed product operating models and customer-centric ways of working
- Partner with senior stakeholders across business, technology, operations, risk, finance and people functions
- Provide governance, reporting and delivery insight across complex change portfolios
- Manage dependencies, priorities and execution across multiple initiatives
- Coach and develop senior transformation and delivery leaders
- Influence and challenge stakeholders constructively to drive adoption and accountability
- Support organisational maturity around agile, product management and project delivery best practice
- Help teams understand and embrace the “why” behind transformational change
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading enterprise transformation or central change functions within large organisations
- Strong background delivering major transformation programmes within complex, regulated environments
- Expertise in product operating models, agile delivery and organisational change
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including executive-level engagement
- Experience building and leading high-performing transformation teams
- Ability to navigate resistance, negotiate effectively and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong coaching mindset with the ability to develop capability and improve ways of working
- Financial services experience is essential
