This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of HR, technology, product, and customer experience, playing a pivotal role in shaping how thousands of colleagues interact with people services every day.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for understanding, mapping, and continuously improving end-to-end colleague journeys across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Experience Designers, and HR stakeholders, you'll act as the voice of the colleague—using data, feedback, and research to identify pain points, uncover improvement opportunities, and help deliver seamless, intuitive experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong process analysis capabilities with a passion for employee experience, customer journey optimisation, and transformation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Understand the Journey
    • Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end HR and colleague journeys across areas such as onboarding, employee lifecycle, performance management, recognition, and case management.
    • Create and maintain journey maps, process maps, and service blueprints using tools such as Visio and Figma.
    • Gather and analyse insight from multiple sources, including colleague feedback, operational metrics, service data, and user research.
    • Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve the overall colleague experience.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement
    • Use data and insight to recommend and prioritise improvements across journeys and processes.
    • Explore opportunities for automation, simplification, and process optimisation.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring colleague experiences evolve in response to feedback and changing needs.
    • Support product teams in identifying enhancements that deliver the greatest value and impact.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
    • Partner with Product Owners, Engineers, Experience Design specialists, and HR stakeholders to deliver joined-up experiences.
    • Ensure journey improvements are aligned across systems, teams, and business functions.
    • Act as the bridge between business requirements and delivery teams, ensuring colleague needs remain central to decision-making.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with HR processes, employee experience platforms, or colleague lifecycle journeys.
  • Proven success mapping and improving end-to-end customer or colleague journeys.
  • Experience operating within agile product environments alongside product and engineering teams.
  • Strong background using research, data, insight, and feedback to drive service improvements.
  • Experience supporting transformation initiatives involving process redesign, automation, or digital improvements.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong customer and colleague-centric mindset.
  • Excellent process mapping and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities across complex processes and services.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, translating insight into clear actions and recommendations.
  • Comfortable working with data, metrics, customer feedback, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to bring multiple teams together around shared outcomes.

What You'll Bring

  • Passion for creating exceptional colleague experiences.
  • Curiosity and a drive to challenge existing ways of working.
  • A focus on outcomes and measurable improvements.
