We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a small, high-performing engineering team responsible for developing and supporting an enterprise-scale observability platform.

This is an opportunity to work on project-based development while also contributing to business-as-usual (BAU) support activities within a collaborative and technically driven environment.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can quickly become productive with minimal supervision.

While this is not a senior leadership role, we are looking for someone with the experience and confidence to hit the ground running, as the team has limited capacity for training.

The role forms part of a team of three developers, working closely with the Technical Lead and day-to-day manager to deliver enhancements, investigate issues and support users across a global engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain applications supporting the observability platform.
  • Deliver project-based development alongside BAU support.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable and scalable code.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues.
  • Support end users and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Develop and execute testing to ensure solution quality.
  • Collaborate with developers located across London, Bromley and Dublin.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and platform capabilities.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with Mongo DB.
  • Experience using Grafana.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Banking or Financial Services experience.
  • Experience working on observability or monitoring platforms.
  • Knowledge of C++ (to support legacy applications).
  • Experience with React. js.
  • Experience supporting production systems within an enterprise environment.
  • Candidate Profile

  • Be a proactive, self-motivated developer who takes ownership of their work.
  • Be comfortable balancing project delivery with operational support.

  • Be adaptable and capable of working across multiple technologies.
  • Enjoy working within a collaborative, geographically distributed team.
