Finance Tech delivery manager London – hybrid 6 month contract
Project: A lot of change i.e. tech re-labelling, not an intro of gross new functionality. A key part is asset migration, system under change. The TDMs will have a delivery plan in place by the time the assignment starts, development should also have kicked off by this point.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technology Delivery Manager to partner with business departments across the EMEA region. This role is accountable for the successful delivery of key projects within the Strategic Technology Delivery Group, working closely with both business and IT teams focused on Banking Operations systems.
An ideal candidate would have experience of working on large scale programmes, working in another bank or similar regulated organisation within financial services.
The Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for all elements of the project management lifecycle related to IT systems, leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of strategic IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
The incumbent runs project meetings, manages stakeholders, reports on project status and escalates to management as appropriate. Due to the nature of work, the incumbent is often required to manage against tight time pressures, complex regulatory or market requirements and unclear business objectives focused on finance space.
