As a Senior Visual Designer, you’ll bring creativity, empathy, and technical skill to design engaging experiences across web and mobile platforms. You’ll play a key role in designing a new subscription hub, helping to make complex financial services simple and intuitive for millions of users.
About the Role
You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary Experience Design team — alongside interaction designers, researchers, content writers, and strategists — helping to uncover priorities, visualise outcomes, and define scope. Your focus will be solving real customer problems and creating compelling, human-centered designs.
Key responsibilities:
- Applying creative thinking to simplify complex problems and craft elegant solutions.
- Designing production assets, infographics, logos, and other visual elements.
- Creating engaging digital experiences for web and mobile applications, including the new subscription hub.
- Supporting and scaling a multi-brand digital design system.
- Using storytelling techniques to communicate ideas effectively with stakeholders and customers.
- Bringing designs to life with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Collaborating confidently within agile teams to define priorities and outcomes.
- Designing and laying out pages and UI elements with consistency, creativity, and accessibility in mind.
- Engaging with communities of practice and broader design teams to align objectives with strong customer outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Visual Design within digital products.
- An established portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual and interaction design work.
- Strong storytelling skills to communicate design ideas and engage stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset, able to work closely with a busy, multidisciplinary team.
- Experience solving visual design challenges and delivering experience-led, digital journeys.
- Energy and enthusiasm to bring design wherever it’s needed.
- Familiarity with digital design systems and accessibility standards.
- Ability to see designs through to delivery, liaising with developers to ensure usability across diverse audiences.
