Client Onboarding Specialist

Location: Chester, England, United Kingdom.

Contract: 12 months. First 3 months office-based; thereafter hybrid with 1‑2 days from home. Working hours Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm; flexibility required during busy periods.

Salary: £36,000 per annum plus extensive benefits. Day‑rate option available. PAYE basis only; LTD/Umbrella company not permitted.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client implementations from initiation to completion across the bank’s cash management solutions.
• Partner with clients to agree on project delivery timelines, communicate status updates, and identify/mitigate risks.
• Provide a tailored approach to meet client needs using project‑management routines for larger deliverables.
• Lead conference calls with clients and internal stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure timely onboarding and influence outcomes where necessary.
• Complete product and service set‑ups within systems, maintaining accurate documentation and audit trails.
• Keep stakeholders informed of onboarding progress and escale issues as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Client onboarding experience (not AML/KYC).
• Strong stakeholder management skills (internal and external).
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage high volumes under pressure.
• Proven ability to manage and negotiate deadlines effectively.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Previous project‑management or relevant experience – candidates must hit the ground running.

Preferred Skills

• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving ability.
• Experience in financial services or investment banking is advantageous.
• Broad understanding of cash and treasury solutions.
