Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the overall design and governance of HV cable systems across various Offshore Hybrid Assets (OHA) projects.
  • Managing a talented team of engineers to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable cable systems.
  • Collaborating with cable contractors, civil works contractors, and ancillary system suppliers to ensure high standards in design and construction.
  • Acting as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, authorities, and suppliers.
  • Ensuring safety by design principles are embedded in all contractor solutions.
  • Conducting regular site visits to cable routes and converter stations to monitor progress and quality.

  • Proven experience delivering large infrastructure projects.
  • A track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while producing high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of the power industry and technical understanding of converter station components.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
