Purpose of the Role

Design and scale the enterprise capability model for Looker and Looker Gemini (Gen BI) , ensuring colleagues have the skills, tools and accreditation needed to adopt, build and scale Gen BI in a federated operating model . This will enable the organisation to scale Gen BI , without creating dependency on central teams.

  • Integrate

Looker learning pathways within our AI Academy for different personas (Builder, User, Enabler, Leader) and align to our BI & Analytics job families

• Stand up and integrate the learning ecosystem , including

  • Self-Serve Learning Portal
  • Virtual Classroom learning
  • Hands-on labs and sandbox environments
  • Playbook and training standards
  • 2. Accreditation & Capability Framework

• Design and implement a formal accreditation model , including

  • required learning pathways
  • competency thresholds
  • certification routes
  • Align accreditation to roles (e. g. Builder readiness) and delivery eligibility
  • 3. Enable Federated Capability

• Support business domains to

  • build internal Gen BI capability
  • embed trained builders into teams
  • adopt train the trainer
  • Reduce reliance on Co E by enabling self-service learning and federated delivery capability

  • Integrated Gen BI learning pathways (AI Academy aligned)
  • Google Learning Portal integrated into pathways
