Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain a comprehensive recoverability asset inventory, covering applications, infrastructure, cloud services, data stores, and third-party services. Identify essential systems, platforms, and datasets that require robust backup and recovery capabilities. Assess current backup coverage, retention periods, and frequencies to ensure optimal data security. Catalogue backup and recovery solutions currently in use throughout the technology estate. Evaluate the implementation of immutable backup controls and ransomware resilience measures. Review operational monitoring, alerting, and reporting associated with backup platforms. Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, application, and supplier teams to gather essential evidence.
