Contract / Hours: Fixed Terms Contract 3 months, Part‑time 30 hours per week (5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends; one weekend off every 4 weeks).

A Bit About The Role:
An entry‑level role where you do not need prior experience or qualifications. We are looking for a positive attitude and a desire to give the best care to children and young people. It is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in social care. You will create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people, ensuring wellbeing is prioritised through personalised care, guidance and advocacy. It is key that they stay safe, healthy and reach their full potential. In return, we offer opportunities for progression within our organisation, through an in‑depth induction and training programme, enrolment in required qualifications, regular supervision and team meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily routine support, including personal hygiene, communication and medication administration.
- Safeguard children and young people through accurate recording and reporting.
- Support children to grow and develop in a safe, supportive environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Understand how to engage with young people.
- Positive approach and can‑do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ready to complete a Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification within 2 years of commencing employment, with full support provided.
