We have a new vacancy for a Site Security Guard to work at a closed holiday park in the UK. Camber Sands, part of the Pontins group located East Sussex and benefits from nearby public transport links and is easily commutable from surrounding towns.

Your duties will include:

• Supervising and monitoring access to the Parks facilities, ensuring all areas are secured when not in use, and promptly reporting any hazards.
• Monitoring and reviewing CCTV footage.
• Responding appropriately to alarms and emergency situations.
• Report any incidents or breaches of security to the appropriate authorities.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence. You will be dependable, attentive to detail, and be confident in dealing with different situations whilst maintaining a safe and secure park. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises through CCTV and other surveillance methods, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to.
