PBS (Ponticelli UK Ltd) are looking for a HSE Advisor to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and advising the operations team in all matters related to health, safety, and environment, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards to protect people, assets, and the environment.
Key Deliverables:
- Provide HSE guidance and support to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure the effectiveness of control measures.
- Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs to promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and systems.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors to maintain compliance and support the resolution of any issues.
- Prepare HSE reports and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular offshore and site visits as required.
- Participate in accreditation and vendor auditing.
Profile
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate, NVQ or equivalent HSE qualification
- Desirable: Experience in offshore Energy sector operations
- Essential: BOSIET/FOET and associated mandatory certification
- Desirable: Experience of environmental legislation and systems
- Desirable: Experience of sustainability
- Desirable: Experience in Emergency Response
- Desirable: Experience of COSHH and Occupational Health programmes
Job Specific Knowledge:
- Essential: Understanding of UK HSE regulations, and Risk Management
- Desirable: Familiarity with safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001)
