Job title

Project Co-ordinator

Job description

Provide dedicated workforce coordination support to the Hinkley Point C project, acting as a key link between project workers, project management and Ponticelli support services. Coordinate workforce administration, mobilisation activities and worker support requirements to ensure the efficient onboarding, deployment and ongoing support of project personnel.

Key Deliverables:

01. Act as a key point of contact between HPC project workers, project management and support functions, co-ordinating the effective resolution of workforce-related queries and ensuring timely escalation of issues where required.

02. Provide practical assistance to internationally mobile workers in understanding UK payroll arrangements, payslips, HR documentation and workplace practices, adapting communication and explanations as required to support understanding and integration into the project.

03. Co-ordinate with local and Group logistics teams to plan and track worker logistical requirements, ensuring key mobilisation and deployment activities are completed within required timescales.

04. Co-ordinate workforce mobilisation activities by maintaining mobilisation trackers, monitoring progress against requirements and liaising with project and support functions to resolve issues that may impact mobilisation schedules.

05. Co-ordinate the collection, validation and submission of timesheet information, following up on discrepancies and ensuring payroll deadlines are achieved.

06. Maintain and monitor workforce records, trackers and project administration systems, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and available to support project reporting and decision making.

07. Manage day-to-day workforce enquiries, providing guidance on routine matters, identifying trends or recurring issues and escalating complex queries to the appropriate specialist teams.

08. Provide general administrative support to the HPC project team, including preparing, compiling and updating information required for effective project coordination.

09. Produce workforce coordination reports and status updates, highlighting risks, issues and upcoming workforce requirements to support project planning and resource coordination.

Qualifications and Work Experience

Essential: Experience in a workforce coordination, project administration, logistics coordination or operational support role involving the co-ordination of multiple activities, priorities and stakeholders.
Essential: Experience dealing with a range of stakeholders and responding to enquiries.
Desirable: Experience supporting a construction, engineering or industrial project environment.
Desirable: Experience supporting a multilingual or internationally mobile workforce.

Job Specific Knowledge

Essential: Understanding of general administrative processes and document management.
Essential: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Essential: Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
Desirable: General awareness of UK payroll or HR administration processes.
