About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Cleaning Assistant to join the team at Northfield Primary School. The candidate will be responsible for providing a clean and hygienic school environment which meets specified cleaning standards. They will undertake basic record keeping as directed, report faulty equipment and other maintenance requirements, and refill and replace consumables.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:
- Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and pupils.
- Can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
- Has experience of working in a similar specialist area.
The role is a 12.5 hours per week, all year round, permanent contract, Monday to Friday 15:30 – 18:00.
