Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location
Flexible within the UK or US, with significant international travel including Europe and Asia
About Pomvom
Pomvom (TASE: PMVM) is a publicly listed technology company transforming how guests capture, access and relive their most memorable experiences.
Our AI-powered photography and content capture solution operates inside many of the world's leading theme parks, attractions and entertainment destinations, delivering seamless guest experiences and meaningful commercial value for our partners.
We are a global scale-up, not a corporate giant.
Our teams operate across the US, UK, Europe and Asia, embedded within our partners' sites under long-term commercial partnerships.
As we enter our next phase of international growth, we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to own global operational execution and build the delivery engine that growth requires.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will own three things: the executive relationships with the major theme park and attraction groups we operate with today, the performance of our current parks and sites, and the deployment of new parks around the world, leading the experienced internal launch and delivery teams already in place.
This is not a conventional hospitality operations role.
Pomvom operates inside our partners' sites, on their terms, under revenue-share agreements.
Success means being a trusted counterpart to senior leadership at the world's largest operator groups, running a distributed frontline workforce, launching new parks on time, and converting more of the millions of guests we photograph into paying customers.
- What You'll Own
- Executive relationships with our major partner groups: the senior operator-level relationships that protect, grow and renew our largest partnerships.
- Performance of our current parks and sites: guest satisfaction, revenue per guest and site-level profitability across every site, with digital delivery penetration as a headline priority.
- Deployment of new parks worldwide, leading our existing internal launch and delivery teams to open on time and on budget.
- Global operations and delivery, including the regional delivery organisations in the US and EMEA and field engineering.
- The operating system of the company: metrics, reporting cadence, performance management and accountability frameworks across every site and region.
- Efficiency and profitability of the operational P&L, including workforce planning for a large, seasonal frontline organisation.
- High-performing, geographically dispersed teams and the leadership bench beneath them.
- How You'll Work
- In close partnership with Product, R&D, Engineering and the Delivery team to turn the technology roadmap into deployed, revenue-generating reality at site level.
- Alongside Commercial to ensure every new contract passes a delivery-readiness test before signature, and every live partnership performs against its commitments.
- With Finance and HR on planning, forecasting and organisational design.
- Directly with the CEO and board on strategic priorities, with the reporting rigour a publicly listed company requires.
- What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Executive relationships with our major partner groups deepened, with satisfaction and retention strengthened across key accounts.
- Improved performance at current parks and sites: profitability, guest satisfaction and revenue per guest, including a measurable step change in digital delivery.
- New parks deployed on time, every time, with the existing internal teams operating as a repeatable launch engine.
- A clear, metrics-driven operating cadence adopted across the company.
- The Executive We're Looking For
You are an accomplished operational leader from the theme park and attractions industry.
You know the people: you have built genuine, senior-level relationships across the major operator groups, and you are credible in their boardrooms because you have run operations in their world.
You may have led multi-park, multi-site or regional operations for a major operator, or scaled an in-park services business alongside them.
Most importantly, you know how to turn strategy into execution: improving performance at live sites, opening new ones on time, and leading experienced teams to deliver consistently at scale.
Experience & Expertise
The successful candidate is likely to bring
- Deep experience within theme parks, attractions or themed entertainment, with an established network of senior relationships across the major operator groups.
- Executive leadership experience as a COO, Managing Director, General Manager, Regional Vice President or equivalent senior operational role.
- A track record of leading complex, multi-site, international operations with full P&L or operational budget responsibility.
- Success building and managing trusted, long-term relationships with enterprise partners at executive level.
- Proven improvement of operational performance and profitability while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Experience opening new parks, sites or venues, leading established teams through launch and ramp-up.
- Experience managing large frontline and seasonal workforces alongside corporate functions.
- Strong financial and analytical capability, with the discipline of data-driven decision-making.
- Comfort operating in a technology-led business; public company experience is an advantage.
- Experience in attraction photography, guest experience technology, admissions, entertainment technology or site operations would be particularly valuable.
- Leadership Attributes
- A visible, hands-on leader who is equally credible in the boardroom and on the ground at a site.
- Commercially minded with exceptional operational discipline.
- Decisive, resilient and comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of a scale-up.
- Genuinely energised by applying AI and technology to transform guest experiences, with the operational rigour to make it real.
- Collaborative across cultures, geographies and time zones.
Why Join Pomvom?
This is a rare opportunity to build the global operating engine of an ambitious, publicly listed technology company working with some of the world's most iconic entertainment destinations.
You will shape strategy with an experienced leadership team, own execution across continents, and transform how millions of guests create and share memories every year.
A highly competitive executive compensation package, including bonus and equity participation, will be offered to the successful candidate.
