Ready to build your career? We want to hear from you. As a yard hand with Pomerleau's construction logistics team, you will work with the logistics team at the Ville St‑Catherine courtyard (South Shore of Montreal) to support large‑scale building and infrastructure projects – from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to work outdoors with several team members on a variety of tasks to service the construction sites.

What you will do:

  • Handle, move, load, unload products, materials, tools, equipment, and machinery manually or using various handling devices.
  • Count, weigh, sort, inspect, pack, and unpack various products and materials.
  • Open boxes, fill orders, and participate in inventory taking.
  • Store items in an orderly manner to ensure easy access.
  • Clear snow from the yard, walkways, stairs, etc., during the winter season.
  • Maintain and repair certain tools and equipment.

This role could be for you if you have:

  • A high school diploma (DES) and/or a vocational diploma (DEP) in a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Between 1 to 3 years of experience as a material handler.
  • Good physical capabilities.
  • A strong sense of priorities.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • The ability to operate a forklift and an aerial work platform.
