Static Building Services Engineer – London
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm | Salary dependent on experience | Site-based role
Polyteck Building Services is looking for an experienced Static Building Services Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance at a client site in London.
The role will involve maintaining building services systems, completing PPMs, attending reactive issues and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Attend reactive maintenance issues and building repairs
- Service, maintain and fault-find mechanical and M&E systems
- Carry out routine inspections in line with PPM schedules
- Complete job reports, logbooks and maintenance records accurately
- Identify and report remedial works
- Monitor plant rooms and site equipment
- Ensure scheduled works are completed on time
- Work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments
- Liaise professionally with clients, tenants and contractors on site
What we’re looking for
- Experience in Building Services Maintenance
- Experience working with mechanical and M&E systems
- Relevant and up-to-date qualifications
- Good fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Experience carrying out a range of PPM duties
- Ability to work independently on a static site
- Good communication and customer service skills
- IT literate and comfortable updating jobs and timesheets electronically
