About Us: As one of London's leading M&E contractors we have several large contracts across multiple prestigious sites in the capital and now require a maintenance engineer to join our team. From reactive repairs to planned maintenance, we pride ourselves on reliability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Overall Role: To ensure planned maintenance and reactive works are completed to a high standard, are technically compliant, and run to programme. Small project & reactive works as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective running of the planned maintenance activities:
- Sufficient time is allocated to task frequencies
- Resource sufficient equipment and materials in conjunction with the Purchasing and Contracts Manager/Supervisor
- Systematic and logical sequence of works
- Ensure job reports are submitted within the required timeframe, including all the evidence of work completed, and providing all relevant information for remedial repairs
- Complete necessary log sheets and keep logbooks on site up to date
- Carry out all work to a high standard
- Ensure scheduled appointments are fulfilled on time
- Day to day responsibility of managing the on-site stores, workshop, and plant rooms
- Carry out reactive callouts and various building repairs on request
- Ensuring Compliance with Health and Safety regulations/risk assessments
- Liaise with clients/tenants to ensure expectations are managed and met
Key technical knowledge required:
- HIUs (Heat Interface Units) – We service, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs. No previous experience is necessary, but strong mechanical diagnosis skills are needed
- UFH (Underfloor heating) manifolds – Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- FCUs – Strong understanding to investigate faults with FCUs, chilled water circuits, and related controls
- Controls – BMS systems, actuators, local controllers, etc.
- Mechanical plant – Pumps, boilers, LTHW systems, chillers, Pressurisation Units, etc.

- Up to £45k Salary based on experience
