Gas & Plumbing Engineer Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Salary: £55,000 and above depending on experience. Overall Responsibilities (Plumbing & Mechanical Engineer) This role focuses on delivering high-quality plumbing and mechanical services across domestic and commercial properties. You’ll carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a professional standard. You’ll work independently or as part of a team, maintain accurate records, and represent the company professionally at all times. Key Responsibilities * Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing and mechanical systems * Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions * Carry out first and second fix plumbing works * Perform testing and commissioning of systems * Complete accurate job records and reports * Conduct risk assessments and follow Health & Safety procedures * Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota when required * Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues Key Technical Knowledge & Experience (Essential) * Gas Safe Registered (Domestic & Commercial) * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent) * Proven experience in domestic and commercial environments * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable (Training can be provided) * Unvented Hot Water (G3) * LPG & Catering Gas Qualifications * WRAS Water Regulations Certificate * Knowledge of BMS and relevant safety training What We Offer * Competitive salary overtime opportunities * Company vehicle and travel expenses * Continuous training and development * 20 days annual leave bank holidays * Pension scheme All offers are subject to pre-employment checks and a DBS check.
