Hours: Monday–Friday

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee M&E/HVAC maintenance and reactive works across multiple sites. You will ensure all jobs run smoothly, are technically compliant, delivered on time, and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day running of assigned contracts
  • Allocate labour, plan resources, and ensure logical sequencing of works
  • Provide technical support and fault‑finding assistance to engineers
  • Oversee BMS controls, HVAC systems, and F‑Gas compliant tasks
  • Attend callouts and ensure first‑time fixes wherever possible
  • Produce job sheets, update logbooks, and maintain accurate asset information
  • Carry out site audits, including cosmetic and maintenance audits
  • Identify remedial works and support estimates/quotations
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and contractors
  • Support mobilisation processes and 60‑day reports
  • Conduct toolbox talks and support the development of engineers & apprentices
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and risk assessments

Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in M&E / HVAC maintenance
  • City & Guilds in A/C & HVAC
  • Higher diploma in mechanical engineering (preferred)
  • F‑Gas certification and management experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead, coach, and support a team
  • Confident with computers and completing documentation accurately
