Polytec are seeking a talented and experienced Senior RF Engineer to join our client based just north of Cambridge. This is a key technical role where you will contribute significantly to development projects, leveraging your expertise in RF electronics design. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in RF design, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and specify RF circuitry
- Complete subsystem design and implementation
- Conduct technical requirements analysis and resolve design/integration issues
- Perform performance testing and optimisation
- Lead integration and prototyping activities
- Create detailed technical documentation (design reports, test plans, performance analysis)
- Component specification and sourcing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience in RF design and development
- Comprehensive knowledge of RF systems and technologies, including design, simulation and testing
- Significant experience at design level in at least three of the following areas:
- RF Power Amplifiers
- Transmitters
- Receivers
