Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm on Friday

Polytec are seeking a talented and motivated Electronic Design Engineer to join our client based in Newmarket. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full product development lifecycle, contributing to innovative antenna and RF solutions that support British manufacturing. You will collaborate with antenna, mechanical and production engineers on a wide range of new antenna designs. The role spans bid support, requirements capture, system-level design, concept development, simulation, prototyping, build, verification and production handover. With the production facility located on-site, you will see your designs progress from concept through to manufacture.

Responsibilities:

  • Test and development of antenna and RF products
  • Design of new antenna and RF products
  • Requirements analysis and system definition
  • Technical documentation creation
  • Maintenance and improvement of test facilities
  • PCB design

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or related subject (minimum HNC or equivalent qualification considered)
  • Good working knowledge of RF theory
  • Antenna design and passive RF/microwave circuit design experience
  • Solid grounding in electromagnetic principles
