Polytec are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist in Chemistry for our client. You will be responsible for a large area stretching from Northern Scotland to Mid Wales including Northern Ireland. Ideally you will be based fairly central to this within the Scottish Border region (Newcastle to Falkirk).
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining profitable sales within your territory
Develop new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle
Maintain and develop relationships by structured site visits and communications to current and potential customers
Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations and training
CRM Management
Organise and attend onsite mini-exhibitions and symposiums
Requirements:
Knowledge and familiarity with the Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research and Chemical sectors
Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with products in process and organic chemistry
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM
Full UK driving license.
