Polytec is seeking a proactive Facilities and Engineering Supervisor to take ownership of site facilities and utilities for our client based in St Ives. Responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of site facilities and utilities, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operation.
- Manage day-to-day facilities systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical and building services.
- Develop and drive a preventative maintenance strategy to reduce downtime and improve asset reliability.
- Use data and performance insights to support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support CAPEX and facilities improvement projects, from business case development through to commissioning.
- Manage and coordinate contractors and service providers, ensuring high safety and compliance standards.
- Oversee budgets, costs and resource planning related to facilities and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of building services and site utilities.
- Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programmes.
- Ability to manage CAPEX, budgets and performance data effectively.
