Service Technician

Location: Cambridge (CB25) Duration: Permanent Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 Job Reference: 35724 We are looking for a Service Technician to join a company based just outside Cambridge to assist with fault finding and repair of high-end domestic equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining company databases and liaising with other departments as required. Responsibilities * Diagnose, Repair and test customer units * Diagnose, Repair, test and re-work of production units to finished goods standard * Test and repair of sub-assemblies and components returned from customers and return to stock where appropriate * Liaise with customer support as necessary to facilitate progress of units through the department if more fault information required * Assist with implementation of running changes and modifications to finished goods stock if require * Provide documentation as required Requirements * Electronic and mechanical assembly skills – preferably City and Guilds or HNC in electronics / servicing * Soldering skills * Experience of audio / hi fi repair would be beneficial as would previous experience of working in a service / repair environment Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below…
