Duration: 3 months initially, transfer to permanent staff for the right candidates
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hour week) moving to weekly shift rotations from 13th July 2026 early / late shift (6am - 2:30pm and 1:30pm - 10pm on a weekly rotation)

Polytec are looking for Manufacturing Technicians to complete assembly tasks for our client based in Melbourn, near Royston. Ideally you will have access to your own transport due to the shift pattern requirements.

- Assembling small plastic components
Requirements:
- Experience assembling small items
- Attention to detail, good dexterity and an awareness of quality requirements
- Cleanroom experience would be useful but full training will be given. You must be comfortable in lab PPE including hairnet, shoe covers, gloves and coat
- Familiarity with a glovebox assembly would be beneficial
