Quotation Engineer

Location: Ely (CB7) Duration: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Thursday – 4 day week! Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum Job Reference: 35707 Polytec are looking for a multi skilled Quotations Engineer to join our Ely based client sales team. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in precision engineering as well as a strong understanding of Fabrication and Welding practices. This could be a great role someone with hands on engineering experience looking to transition more into an office / sales orientated role. Responsibilities: * Effectively obtain relevant information from customers in order to generate accurate quotations * Drive on time delivery of quotations * Develop relationships at all levels of the supply chain both internally and externally * Support Account Management, Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve customer related issues in a timely fashion * Take part in customer and internal meetings Requirements: * Ideally from a manufacturing / engineering background * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office * Experienced in the use of an ERP system (MIE Track would be advantageous but full training will be given) * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Proactive with a drive for delivering timely, high-quality work Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
