An experienced Production Technician with an electro-mechanical background will become part of an award winning Cambridge Company, designers and manufacturers of a range of mission critical imaging equipment. A competitive salary will be offered with benefits to include a discretionary bonus, pension scheme, 37.5 hour week, variable start/finish times, Life assurance and free fruit and snacks. What the Production Technician will get involved with: Assembling, testing and troubleshooting electromechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. Working closely with other engineers and production team members to optimize processes and resolve technical issues. Performing functional tests and quality checks on assembled devices to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintaining accurate documentation. Assisting in maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools. The Production Engineer should bring the following skills and experience: A relevant engineering related qualification. Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly to include soldering (to 0201) and wiring. Good fault finding skills. Ability to read schematic diagrams.
