Part Time Catering Assistant

Location: Cambridge (CB3) Duration: 20th January to 21st March 2025 & 28th April to 20th June 2025 Hours: 9:30am until 1:30pm Monday to Friday Salary: £12.30 per hour Job Reference: 35519 Polytec are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant for our Cambridge based client starting 20th January 2025. You will be assisting with lunch service, operating a till and maintaining a clean and tidy break out area. Responsibilities: * Preparing and serving hot food * Provide lunches and refreshments to staff, meeting rooms and small conferences * Maintain high level of hygiene standards * Clean down after service * Assist and supervise catering at functions and events * Keep break out area clean and tidy * Use of dishwashers and washing up by hand Requirements: * Excellent customer care * You will need to be able to cook hot meals * Previous experience in a similar catering/hospitality environment * Good initiative * Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (preferred but not essential) * Some heavy lifting is involved Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below…
