Polytec are looking for a dynamic Electronic Assembler for our client based a few miles north of Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of electronic components and products to specification using both hand and power tools
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, drawings and diagrams
  • SMT assembly
  • Test and troubleshoot to ensure functionality
  • Inspection of finished products

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in electronic assembly and soldering
  • Good knowledge of electrical components and circuits
  • Familiar with hand tools and power tools used in assembly processes
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings and diagrams
  • Proficient in assembling electronic components using hand tools and power tools
  • Familiar with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly techniques
