Polytec are looking for a skilled 5 Axis CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator for our Ely based client.
Responsibilities:
Setting up new jobs
Reading and interpretation of very complex drawings
Documenting work done accurately and comprehensively
Review parts produced, drawings or instructions to understand required specifications
Monitor machine while working to achieve optimum outputs
Always looking for continuous improvement in all processes
Requirements:
Excellent Cad/Cam skills, ideally familiar with Hypermill
Experience with 5 axis programming / machining
Previous work with castings would be an advantage
Ability to read and interpret complex drawings
Update ERP system accurately to ensure job profitability and conformance
