Location: Cambridge (CB3)\\nDuration: Permanent\\nHours: 37.25 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm)\\nSalary: £26900 – £30800 plus generous holiday allowance\\nJob Reference: 35694\\nWe are seeking a hands-on Catering Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services within a busy environment for our Cambridge based client. You will manage day-to-day operations of a weekday café-style servery, provide catering for internal and external functions and ensure all services meet health, hygiene and financial standards.\\nResponsibilities:\\n* Oversee daily café/servery operations, including breakfast and lunch service\\n* Manage catering for events such as meetings, seminars and conferences\\n* Line-manage a catering assistant and supervise event staff\\n* Maintain budgets, monitor income/expenditure and handle card payments\\n* Maintain stock levels and ensure equipment is operational\\n* Cover reception/admin duties when needed\\nRequirements:\\n* Minimum GCSE-level education\\n* Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene (Catering) qualification\\n* Experience in catering, budgeting and staff supervision\\n* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills\\n* Confident managing food safety standards and allergen regulations\\n* Flexible approach to working hours as required to cover occasional functions outside regular hours – time off in lieu given in compensation.\\nDesirable:\\n* Comfortable working as part of a wider front-of-house team
