Polytec are currently recruiting for a Temporary Data Entry & Warehouse Assistant for a busy team just outside of Cambridge. This is a varied role combining accurate data entry with general warehouse support. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable using computer systems and be happy to assist with warehouse duties as required.
Key Responsibilities- Enter and transfer data accurately between internal systems
- Update and maintain electronic records
- Ensure information is accurate and up to date
- Assist with packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Support goods receiving and stock handling
- Help unload deliveries when required
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Previous experience in data entry, administration, warehouse, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other business systems
- Well-organised with good time management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Physically able to undertake general warehouse duties, including packing, stock handling and unloading deliveries
