Are you a skilled Press Brake Operator looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced, supportive manufacturing environment? Robertson Recruitment are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual to join our manufacturing client based in Castle Donnington. This is a temp to perm opportunity.
Working hours
Monday to Friday
07:00 – 15:30
30 minute lunch
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal materials
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and proper machine settings
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and rulers
- Maintain equipment by completing routine maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure product quality
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a press brake operator or in a similar sheet metal fabrication role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of metal types, thicknesses, and forming techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials when needed
