Join a growing team at a leading UK powder coating specialist based in Leicester, working on products from architectural metalwork to automotive components. We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Powder Coater with a strong background in powder coating processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high‑quality finishes on time and to specification.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday 7:30 am – 2:30 pm
- Friday 7 am – 1:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and pre‑treat metal surfaces prior to coating (degreasing, masking, shot blasting, etc.)
- Apply powder coatings using manual and/or automated spray systems
- Ensure consistent coating thickness and colour accuracy to meet quality standards
- Operate and maintain coating equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in powder coating
- Strong understanding of coating techniques, curing temperatures, and materials handling
- Good eye for colour, finish, and detail
- Ability to read and interpret job sheets and technical drawings
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
